don't use LTSC on machines that do office/workstation tasks. Here's looking at SALESFORCE of all people that had us do wide spread build upgrades for some teams (easy to do from SCCM if you're not using LTSC!) to upgrade Edge to support some of their applications properly! and then you'll get applications requiring a minimum Win10 revision (due to API requirement) that you aren't servicing/deploying because of LTSC. It might while it is parallel to the current release (Though good luck getting any DLP functionality working, or other advanced security/management functions) but a year down the road you're going to be reimaging or upgrading them anyway. As people are slowly starting to learn, the drop in replacement for Windows 7 Embedded does not a good workstation make. (That, and LTSC doesn't have an easy upgrade/servicing path, eventually putting you in an XP/7 purge, and managing multiple versions anyway to support newer hardware). The specific admin i'm thinking of is slowly reimaging LTSC machines to Pro due to their eventual unsupportability down the road. I know other admins who are getting bit as well because of things like Adobe CC and other applications requiring higher versions or APIs/functionality that LTSC lacks. O365 is dropping support for it because of that, and lack of security functionality and fixed-in-time silicone support - IE the latest LTSC will never support 10th gen intel platforms officially, so bugs will never be fxied - make it a horrible idea for end user workstations).
